This Is Our Story

Bronte Park was established by the Hydro Electric Commission in the late 1940´s as a construction village for the development of the Tungatinah scheme and other associated works in the vicinity. Bronte Park village has since become the heart of tourism in the area offering accommodation set amongst the crystal clear waterways of surrounding lakes lined with Tasmanian forests, hiking trails such as the famous Overland Track and picturesque Lake St Clair.
