Central Highland

With Bronte Park Village

This Is Our Story

Bronte Park was established by the Hydro Electric Commission in the late 1940´s as a construction village for the development of the Tungatinah scheme and other associated works in the vicinity. Bronte Park village has since become the heart of tourism in the area offering accomodation set amongst the crystal clear waterways of surrounding lakes lined with Tasmanian forests, hiking trails such as the famous Overland track and picturesque Lake St Clair.
With the clean, crisp air and snow filled winter days or dreamy summer days taking up local wineries or kayaking on the many serene lakes, Bronte Park Village offers a unique range
accommodation from one of our instagram worthy, renovated historical hydro cottages or for large groups and retreats, you can book 'The Lodge' which boost 12 homely furnished rooms + facilities to base your adventures from.
